Industrial Ambient Air
&
Process Gas Monitoring
Environics ambient air monitoring solutions cover a wide range of industries and compounds where ultra-low detection, rapid response and alarm, continuous monitoring and low maintenance are required. This includes both indoor and outdoor applications where hot/cold and wet/dry conditions will occur. Whether monitoring for worker safety or production control the ENVI™ analyzers have the lowest maintenance requirements while continuously monitoring the most difficult compounds. The typical ranges of detection are from ppt to percent levels, insuring detection in time to avert a critical event.
Environics designs and manufactures IMS, GC-IMS, PID, GC-PID and EC analyzers specific for the industry and application, so you can be assured your workers and production environment are continuously protected.

Envi-Air Analyzer
The ENVI-Air™ from Environics is a continuously operating gas analyzer designed for ultra-low level detection of either single or multi-component hazardous gases in ambient air. It will operate indoor or outdoor in the harshest environmental conditions and needs little or no maintenance. ENVI-Air™ is based on IMS or GC-IMS technology. Ion Mobility Spectrometry (IMS) is a simplified atmospheric pressure time-of-flight technique that is highly selective with low ppb to % sensitivity. The GC-IMS adds multi-component separation prior to the IMS analysis. ENVI-Air™ does not require the use of paper tape, pre-concentrators or chemical reagents.
The ENVI-Air™ can detect hazardous gases at far lower concentrations than traditional analyzers and react in real-time. This gives the operator a longer safe response window to take corrective action. The ENVI-Air™ enclosures can range from Class 1 Division 1 to general purpose.
The ENVI-Air™ is virtually drift free and unaffected by humidity or temperature changes and will be factory calibrated for the compounds of interest for maximum accuracy and reliability. Because of the simplicity of design and limited moving parts, ENVI-Air™ analyzers will have the lowest maintenance and downtime of any current analyzer system.

Envi-Pro Analyzer
The ENVI-Pro™ from Environics offers customized continuous process gas monitoring based on IMS or GC-IMS technology. Ion Mobility Spectrometry (IMS) is a simplified atmospheric pressure time-of-flight technique that is highly selective with low ppb to % sensitivity and can operate in the most difficult process conditions. ENVI-Pro™ does not require the use of paper tape, pre-concentrators or chemical reagents.
The ENVI-Pro™ is designed to measure low-level contaminants that can affect the efficiency of an industrial gas process. It can detect and react in real-time to concentration fluctuations that might impact the processing efficiency, feedstock utilization, catalyst poisoning or downstream corrosion. The ENVI-Pro™ is designed to continuously sample in sub-atmospheric, atmospheric or high pressure gas streams and in a wide variety of sample matrixes from hydrogen or hydrocarbon blends to ambient air. ENVI-Pro™ enclosures can range from Class 1 Division 1 to general purpose. With the high sensitivity of IMS there is no risk of sample loss, even when using high-ratio dilution sampling systems. This is a typical problem with infrared (IR & FTIR), ultraviolet (UV), gas filter correlation (GFC) and other measurement techniques. ENVI-Pro™ process gas analyzers can be integrated with the full range of available sample pretreatment systems including thermal reactors, chillers, or sample dryers to optimize the measurement.
The ENVI-Pro™ is virtually drift free and unaffected by humidity or temperature changes and will be factory calibrated to the process gas stream for maximum accuracy and reliability. Because of the simplicity of design and limited moving parts, ENVI-Pro™ analyzers will have the lowest maintenance and downtime of any current analyzer system.

Envi-Stack Analyzer
The ENVI-Stack™ from Environics is the latest evolution in continuous emission monitoring (CEM) systems that offer turn-key, stack to analyzer solutions, based on IMS and GC-IMS technology. Ion Mobility Spectrometry (IMS) is a simplified atmospheric pressure time-of-flight technique that is highly selective with low ppb to ppm sensitivity and can operate in the most severe conditions. ENVI-Stack™ does not require the use of paper tape, pre-concentrators or chemical reagents.
The ENVI-Stack™ can be used with all standard dilution or non-dilution sampling systems. With the high sensitivity of IMS there is no risk of sample loss when using high dilution ratio probes. This is a typical problem with infrared (IR & FTIR), ultraviolet (UV), gas filter correlation (GFC) and other measurement techniques. Because ENVI-Stack™ analyzers use direct measurement and not differential measurement, small variations in concentration are easy to track.
While there are well established methods for criteria pollutants such as CO, SOx, NOx, ozone and particulates, there have not been such clear analyzer choices for hazardous air pollutants (HAPS). ENVI-Stack™ analyzers are designed to perform with the highest degree of reliability and accuracy when measuring HAPS such as ammonia, chlorine, phosgene, HCN, HCl, HF, chlorine dioxide and many others. Because of the simplicity of design and limited moving parts, ENVI-Stack™ analyzers will have the lowest maintenance and downtime of any current analyzer system.

Envi-VOC Analyzer
The ENVI-VOC™ is a multi-gas trace detector for detection and identification of Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) in the ppb-range without any pre-concentration. While performing analysis the ENVI-VOC™ separates the complex mixtures with the GC capillary column and makes the analysis with a highly sensitive Photo Ionization Detector (PID). The ENVI-VOC™ can be individually adjusted for the customer’s specific requirements.
The ENVI-VOC™ is a highly sensitive multi-gas detector for VOCs like BTX respectively BTEX aromatic compounds but also for many other toxic gases. The ENVI-VOC™ is not sensitive to interference from humidity and provides both manual and automatic sampling & analysis.
The PID used in the device is a special design in the ppb-range. The operating costs are low since no carrier gas is required. The ENVI-VOC™ can be setup as a mobile working analyzer but can also be connected to an external computer via interface

ENVI-AMS200 is a Multipoint Area Monitoring System which sequentially draws gas to an analyzer or gas sensors and reads the concentration. The AMS200 has alarm and reporting software which has been developed from many years of experience with
similar systems. The AMS200 is able to output data from up to 4 to 6 analyzers or gas sensors, using, EtherNet, Modbus RS232/RS485 or an optional 4-20mA analog module.
ENVI-AMS200 is available as a Wall or 19” Rack mounting system and can be configured using 4, 8, 12 or 16 valve switching. Larger systems are available by adding 19” Racks of 16 valves up to a maximumof 4 racks, (64 valves). The Sampling System has an
optional Panel PC or 64 Color VGA touch-screen display which allows graphic and operator functions to be changed or added without mechanical changes to the Rack.
Environics specializes in designing and building fully integrated, custom systems to customer’s requirements. Our staff can also write custom software for most communication protocols. Please contact us for further information.
