In-Line Turbidity Monitor

The Kemtrak TC007 is an industrial, robust, in-line process turbidimeter desined for a wide range of process applications. the Kemtrak TC007 usies the nephelometric method for turbidity measurement in accordance with International Standard ISO7027

Optic fibers are used to pipe the light from within the TC007 enclosure to the sampling point and back. This is a major benefit as all the electricity is kept within the analyser enclosure permitting safe operation in even the most hazardous of environments.

Industrial Photometer

The unit utilizes high performance LED lamp technology which provides numerous benefits over traditional incandescent lamps. The optical output of LED lamps is very stable and consistent over time which substantially reduces drift and removes the need for recalibration. Furthermore, the LED lamps never need replacing and since the analyzer has no moving parts, maintenance is zero. A proprietary dual wavelength four channel measurement technique is utilized to drive the analyzer. A primary “absorbing” wavelength measures color while a second “non-absorbing” wavelength, compensates for turbidity and/or fouling.

Since optic fibers are used to pipe light to the measurement point and back, the measurement cell contains no electronics, moving parts or sources of heat and is intrinsically safe. Measurement cells are machined in either stainless steel or Hastelloy C-276 with sapphire glass for superior resistance to abrasive and corrosive media. An Atex zone 1 enclosure is available for the control unit, providing complete control of the unit via four externally mounted push buttons.

In-line Fiber Optic Measurement cells

Kemtrak industrial process measurement cells are manufactured from the highest quality materials and are designed to the most demanding specifications to ensure long life and the highest reliability.
Industrial grade fiber optics transmit cold light to the measurement cell and back. The measurement cell contains no electronics, moving parts or sources of heat that would result in condensation on the optical surfaces and they are well suited for hazardous area operation.

The Kemtrak EX-01 Ex certified enclosure allows a Kemtrak DCP007-EX Photometer or TC007-EX Turbidimeter to be used in an ATEX zone 1 environment according to ATEX II 2 G Ex d[i a] IIB T6 Gb ‐20 °C ≤ Ta ≤ +40°C, II 2 D Ex tb[ i a ] IIIC T 85°C Db IP66.
